Introduction

Hello class.
I don't have much to say about this subject just that learning is always exciting. We never stop learning and that is something that history in particular shows us since every day we keep discovering new things to analyze. Thanks to the Scriptures, important events, and the occasional misfortune, we have learned a lot about who we are and where we come from. Thanks to our ancestors we have discovered a lot of our weaknesses, but we have also discovered that we can improve ourselves in many ways and that we are strong!
Reading part of the introduction and a little about what "Big History" means, I realized that we still have a lot to learn.
History goes beyond what we can see, perceive. And beyond what we have learned from the past, there is still much to discover.
My hope for this class is to complete the course without much trouble. Taking an online class, with children at home, will not be an easy task.
I don't know much about technology or computer programs so my hope for this class is to adapt to this way of learning. Creating a blog account has caused me a lot of stress!
Due to covid-19 I am not currently working, so I'm going to be writing from my house.

Personal life?
I am from Mexico. And although my culture is diverse and wonderful, I did not know how to appreciate it until I came to live in this country, “you don't know what you have until you lose it”.
I came to the United States when I was 21, in 2004. Learning English has cost me a little more than I thought, but it has also helped me gain more knowledge. Because I came to this country when I was older, I had to re-learn. This includes a new culture, language, tradition, etc. If everything goes as planned, I would be graduating next spring. My goal is to get a BA in psychology.
I am very happy to be part of this class. I will try to do my best and I hope you all enjoy every lesson learned during this summer class.
